We deliver curriculum relevant school workshops in Song Writing, Live Performance, Music Tech and Music Industry. Heavily subsidised by worldwide industry brand names, our activities range from careers talks and aspirational speakers through to full workshop days and curriculum events across the UK. Many of these days are assisted by our attending artists known for their success on the live music scene, recording deals and TV coverage.
IEM National Tour Manager
National business award winner Sam Robson was funded by a James Caan Scheme (of Dragon's Den fame) back in 2012, which quickly led to what we now know as the UK's leading music industry workshop company IEM. With over 400 UK workshops delivered to UK schools, IEM now work in partnership with many of the worlds leading brand names to educate and inspire the next generation.
At 16, Sam attended BIMM, the British Institute of Modern Music in Brighton along with the likes of George Ezra, Tom Odell, The Kooks and since then has worked alongside many of the industries greatest, the very same people responsible for The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Clash and Black Sabbath to name but a few. Having toured the UK countless times both as musician and tour manager whilst working extensively in the education sector, Sam is the ideal workshop leader to help educate and inspire the next generation of writers, performers and music entrepreneurs.
IEM Press Officer and Music Journalist
Mira is a music journalist who has relocated to Suffolk from London, where she obtained a BA (Hons) in Arabic. Mira very quickly discovered her passion for music journalism, after writing for BBC Essex and Suffolk online.
Now with a Masters in Journalism, she has used her skills-and passion for music-to write for top music publications like Grapevine Live, as well as present on BBC Radio Suffolk and community stations across the county with her own music shows. With this she has had opportunities to interview the greats, such as Pink, George Ezra and Sir Paul McCartney to name but a few.
Now a full time Press Officer and Music Journalist for IEM she is very pleased to have found a role that incorporates her passion for music and writing with an aim to educating young people in her chosen field.
